Opposite the church of Agios Nektarios is located Paleochora.
Of the numerous churches that existed once a few were preserved, about 33, having excellent frescoes from the Byzantine period. This is why Paleochora is also called insular Mystras. On top of the hill of Paleochora lies the castle dating from 1654. The remains of a medieval town that is really worth seeing.

Bourtzi is a small island with an area of 30 ha at the eastern entrance of Poros port.

Near the beach of Agioi Anargyroi is located one of the most beautiful natural attractions of Spetses, the cave Bekiris.
The cave inside has a small sandy beach and stalagmites composing a beautiful setting. The cave has entrance from the land and from the sea and is very well hidden and this used to be a hiding place and shelter for women and children in times of raids.

Aponisos is located in the southwest side of Agistri west from Limenaria. The island is private and located in a beautiful setting. Visitors can come by car, motorcycle, or local buses serving a bus which runs summer routes from 8 am to 7 pm. The route of 6 km from the port of Scala until Aponisos island quickly compensates the visitor as it is a beautiful pine path.
Aponisos although it has no facilities is in principle favorite point as it gives the opportunity for passengers of vessels to enjoy good food in the tavern at the entrance of the island and relax on the sun loungers by the swimming.
The color of the sea is turquoise, reminiscent of tropical island, while the surrounding area is green from the pines.
The Historical and Folklore Museum is housed in a 1828 neoclassical building, on the street Spirou Rodi Nr. 16.
On the first floor there is the urban Aegina house which includes relics of Irioti family, library, correspondence and his Panayi Irioti file and antique furniture, engravings, paintings, traditional and urban costumes and various decorative objects.
On the ground floor we can visit the village house with everyday items, textile items, agricultural tools and Fisherman House with fisheries.

On 6 rooms-workshops of the museum, which was launched in autumn 1993, you will have the opportunity to discover the creations of the artist of local limestone and even get carving lessons.
Here are exposed works painted during the period between 1963 and 1993, a period that Christos Kapralos worked mainly on the island. Also there are exposed paintings and ceramics.

In the area there are the Archive Department where are stored materials related to the history, tradition and culture of Hydra, the Museum Department where are heirlooms of Balkans and World Wars as well as exhibits on the War of 1821 and the Library which includes about 4000 books and many of them are dated on the 18th century, while the second floor there is a conference room.

Located behind Dapia in a magnificent mansion. Inside we find great quality stuff and Byzantine icons and weapons of various eras. The visitation area on the first floor consists of four large rooms. The main hall, the dining room, the reception room and the room with the fireplace.

The museum is housed in the landmark historic 18th century mansion of Chatzigiannis Mexis, a powerful notable during the Greek War of Independence. The museum presents the island's historical, folklore and archaeological collections. The historical exhibition presents the struggle of the Spetsiotes, especially the heroine Bouboulina, during the Revolution of 1821.
